The quoting stage:

This is the first step in the case of a new project and usually follows some form of management decision on the needs of the facility. Potentially for an upgrade of their existing system or the installation of new automation to deal with the need for increased production capability. By supplying design expertise at this stage we can help with fixing the scope of a particular project and then follow up with the pricing based on the agreed scope.

The design stage:

Once a project has been approved we will work in conjunction with your own project managers to fix the design and where necessary produce an FDS (Functional Design Specification). This will outline all the details of the proposed design so that both parties have a single document to work to. Throughout this phase, we will support you through the process with regular updates to ensure that the FDS reflects all the elements of the project and any requested modifications.

The installation stage:

Throughout the stage of the installation, our engineers will be on hand to advise and coordinate all aspects of the installation. For Phoenix, the project does not end once we have left the site. Our engineers are always available for ongoing system integration support. For technical enquires and in the rare case that there is a problem we can take you through the solution to resolve the issue. In the vast majority of cases, we find that this takes the form of a simple telephone conversation but in the unlikely event of a site visit being necessary we can schedule in a visit from one of our engineers.


Phoenix can support you with all your training needs whether this takes place during the project or at a later date. It can take the form of training related to a specific product or to the complete system and it’s operation including robot training.

System integration support in the form of upgrades:

Once a facility has been up and running a number of years it is possible that a requirement to increase production or implement some other form of upgrade is necessary.
